Advanced Polymer Coatings (APC) has announced the passing of its founder, Donald Keehan, on December 28, 2022. Keehan was 87.

RPM reports its fiscal 2023 second-quarter sales were driven by increased pricing in response to continued inflation. In addition, volume grew in businesses that are benefiting from reshoring and infrastructure spending, and material supply improved through insourcing and qualifying new suppliers.

After completion of closing conditions, KANSAI HELIOS will acquire all business assets of Becker Industrie SAS in the railway coatings segment. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023. Beckers will continue to serve its railway customers in India and China.

The goal was to revitalize an underpass leading to Klingenberg’s middle school, and renovate the school yard. The project brought together more than 90 PPG volunteers, who spent three days – and a total of 1,900 hours – beautifying the underpass and the school yard at the Dr. Konrad Middle school.

The list recognizes the 500 most responsible companies in the United States, across 14 different industry subcategories. AkzoNobel will nominate – subject to shareholder approval – Ben Noteboom as a member of the supervisory board at the Annual General Meeting being held in April 2023. The board intends to subsequently elect him as chair, succeeding Nils Andersen, who will retire as chair and member of the board at the same time.
