The United Kingdom coatings industry’s highest honor, the Silver Medal, recognizes those who provide outstanding service and an exceptional contribution to the paint, coatings, printing ink, and wall covering industries’ growth and reputation.
Following a series of judging days conducted by an independent panel of judges in each category, the BCF reached a carefully selected short list from a variety of high-quality entries. The winners will be announced at the Awards dinner on Thursday, October 19.
The BCF Silver Medal was instigated by Leslie Silver OBE, founder of Silver Paint and Lacquer, upon his retirement in 1980. The Silver Medal recognizes those who provide outstanding service and an exceptional contribution to the paints coatings, printing ink, and wallcovering industries’ growth and reputation.
Over 150 senior business leaders and decision-makers from the U.K.'s paint, coatings, and printing ink sectors gathered for the 2023 British Coatings Federation (BCF) Annual Conference, which marked the close of current BCF President Guy Williams’ two-year tenure.
