Following an in-depth assessment by EcoVadis, Archroma further improved its score by four points (from 78/100 to 82/100). The company says the improvement is due to its ongoing efforts in sustainable procurement, focusing on supply chain transparency and best practice sharing with suppliers and industry peers.

The list recognizes the 500 most responsible companies in the United States, across 14 different industry subcategories. The companies were selected based on publicly available key performance indicators derived from CSR and Sustainability reports. The key performance indicators focused on company performance across all three areas of ESG. 

Two of the awards – given by SOCMA (Society of Chemical Manufacturers Association) – went to MFG’s Kimberly Park plant: the Silver Award for EHS&S Planning & Operations, and the Performance Improvement Award for Stakeholder Communications based on its installation of a new KPI (Key Performance Indicator) communication board.

The R&D 100 Awards, organized by R&D World magazine, is a program that celebrates new devices and materials for their technological significance. A panel of expert judges reviews submissions from across the industry and the Analytical/Test category recognizes laboratory advancements specifically.

Industrialist of the Year is awarded by the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). The award recognizes southwestern Pennsylvania business leaders for their positive contributions across their industry, their community, and the region.
