The Dow Chemical Co. has announced it will raise both the list and off-list prices for several products in the Oxygenated Solvents portfolio in North America.
Effective Oct. 1, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its off-list prices in North America by U.S. $0.05 per pound for butanediol (BDO), tetrahydrofuran (THF), Polytetramethylene ether glycol (PolyTHF®), gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) and N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP).
OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business has announced a price increase of up to $0.06 per dry pound for all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, OMNABOND™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers.
