The Shepherd Color Company has hired a new regional sales manager - APAC. With 20 years of experience in account management, research & development, technical sales, and marketing roles in the coatings industry, he will support customers and distributors in several countries, including India, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. 

HMG Paints sponsored a new project, City of Champions, during the 2022 World Cup. Students from across North Manchester, England, have celebrated the World Cup with a football-themed event at Manchester’s newest independent cultural venue, Love Factory.

SUSBINCO, which Teknos is a part of, is a research project based on the search for sustainable and safe alternatives to current fossil-based binders and coatings. The project was launched in response to the coating industry's need to replace fossil-based raw materials, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

At an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGM) on November 30, 2022, Avantium’s shareholders unanimously endorsed the appointment of the the company's new CFO until the end of the annual general meeting (AGM) in 2027.

CWS Lackfabrik GmbH is a family owned company with around 250 employees. CWS has a powder coatings production site in Düren, Germany, and New York, United States, a solid resins production site in Düren, Germany, and a liquid resins production site in Düren and Hamburg, Germany.

Five teams have been established following a recent Discovery Day. AkzoNobel says this has now set in motion the next phase of its initiative, which was launched with 28 partners – including customers, suppliers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and academia – in May 2022.
