Rohm and
Haas Co. and Weihai Jinhong Polymer Co. Ltd. have begun formal operation of
their joint venture company, Jinhong Rohm and Haas Chemical Company (JinHaas).
The newly created
Nubiola North American Technology Center, managed by Nathan Karszes, Technical
Manager, increases laboratory capabilities for research and development,
technically supporting Nubiola-manufactured ultramarine, iron oxide and
anti-corrosive pigments.
BASF Performance Materials, formerly BASF EVP &
Engelhard, and Archway Sales Inc., St. Louis, have entered into an agreement to
distribute organic and inorganic pigments, MEARLIN® effect pigments,
dyes, pigment dispersions, UV absorbers, and HALS and Attagel®
