eco-friendly evaluation approach to designing sustainable coatings by
spotlighting its growing line of zero-VOC, APE-free performance additives and
solvents for waterborne coatings at Stand 9-218.
The key focus at Perstorp’s Stand 7A-427 is on new
product launches for more eco-friendly technologies. Perstorp has launched
the Voxtar™ pentaerythritol platform based on renewable raw materials
and energy.

highlighting its newest commercialized product in the Solus™ portfolio at Stand
9-305. Solus 3050 is specifically engineered to help formulators meet VOC,
performance and productivity goals in waterborne coatings systems.

During the Novel Materials session of the European Coatings Congress, Robert Miller of Troy Corp. offered a presentation on how the proper rheological additive can provide excellent pigment suspension and help maintain pigment separation during the drying process.
Roger Cayton of Nanophase Technologies presented a paper on “Scratch-Resistant UV-Cured Coatings Containing Nano-Aluminum Oxide Additives” during the Nanotechnology Session of Wednesday’s Congress.
