During the Powder Coatings session of the European Coatings Congress on Tuesday, a new platform of sustainable polyester resins for powder coatings was presented by Alessandro Minesso, Cytec Italy.
During the Smart Coatings session of the Congress on Tuesday, Robert Maul, Eckart, Germany, offered a presentation on intelligent coating systems designed to substantially contribute to saving energy and reducing climate-damaging CO2.
Dr. Sonja Schulte, Editor in Chief, Science and Technology, for the European Coatings Journal, offered the welcome address at the opening of the European Coatings Congress on Monday, March 28.
Two keynote addresses were given at the opening of the European Coatings Congress. The first, given by Professor Matthias Beller of the University of Rostock, Germany, was titled “Sustainable Chemistry: A Key Technology for the 21st Century.”
