In reaction to current demand in the global market and in preparation of the upcoming debottlenecking of Oxea’s 1,3-butylene glycol unit at Bishop, TX, Oxea is implementing a 100-percent sales control on 1,3-butylene glycol.
Oxea Corp.’s U.S. intermediates business announced on June 11 that it has experienced technical issues coming out of a major scheduled maintenance turnaround at its Bay City, TX, facility.
Effective immediately, Oxea will implement a 100 percent sales control in North and South America on the following intermediates line products: n-propanol, n-butanol, n-propyl acetate and n-butyl acetate.
