Robotic sensors replace destructive sampling with micrometer-level measurements of individual paint layers on plastic components within seconds.

In cooperation with EUROLACKE powder coatings, the company coatmaster AG has created a material database for the non-contact coating thickness gauge coatmaster Flex.

The new test kit provides a complete solution for evaluating the environmental conditions prior to painting, as well as measuring the dry film thickness of the coating after application in accordance with SSPC PA-2.

The gauges are conveniently sized to fit in a wallet – like a calling card (2-1/4 " x 3-1/4" x .034") – and are made of solid aluminum stock.
