SHANGHAI – Organizers of the TZMI Congress 2015 announced the second annual pre-conference field trip hosted by CHTi at its titanium dioxide (TiO₂) plant in the city of Ma’anshan, China. The field trip is held in conjunction with the TZMI Congress 2015, which is taking place at the Jing An Shangri-La in Shanghai November 16-19, 2015.

Field trip participants will depart the Jing An Shangri-La on Sunday November 15 and travel by coach and high-speed rail to the city of Nanjing. One night will be spent at the Nanjing Shangri-La.

The next morning (Monday, November 16), participants travel by coach to CHTi’s TiO₂ plant in Ma'anshan where representatives from CHTi will conduct the tour.

The tour group will visit the factory to see the full production line, from feedstock preparation to the final TiO₂ product. The tour will include the waste management facilities, finishing and calcination.

Following the tour, participants will have lunch with representatives from CHTi before returning to Shanghai for the TZMI Congress Welcome Cocktail Reception.
