Arkema and OMYA Extend Distribution Agreement to Include Liquid Resins
CARY, NC - Arkema Coating Resins and OMYA, a leading global producer of industrial minerals and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals, are extending their existing distribution cooperation throughout Europe to include liquid resins for the coating industry, in addition to the thickeners, dispersing agent and plastic additives agreements already in place.
Under this distribution agreement, OMYA will market ARKEMA Coating Resins’ full product range used in the coating market across Europe, on an exclusive basis, except in Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania. Representation will start January 1, 2016.
As a consequence, and after many years of successful cooperation, ARKEMA has decided to terminate its liquid resins distribution agreement with GROLMAN Group, effective December 31, 2015. GROLMAN Group remains the ARKEMA distributor for Kynar®, Rilsan® and Orgasol® to the coatings industry across Europe.
