Call for Abstracts Now Open for FOCUS Conference
PLYMOUTH, MI — The Detroit Society for Coatings Technology has issued a call for abstracts for its 45th annual Future of Coatings Under Study (FOCUS) conference, which is taking place May 7, 2020, at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan.
The FOCUS conference provides a forum to discuss the most pressing issues affecting the automotive coatings industry. From developing technologies to optimizing productivity to emerging test methods, FOCUS is the forum to share ideas and grow networks.
The Detroit Society for Coatings Technology is seeking experts to address the latest challenges and developments in the following topics: Autonomy, Dispersibility, Sustainability, Improved Processes for Tutone, Advances in Application Technology, and the Factory of the Future: Industry 4.0 and the Digital World.
Interested speakers should submit an abstract of less than 500 words to dsctfocus.org. The deadline for submission is Jan. 31, 2020. Notification of acceptance of abstracts is Feb. 28, 2020. The conference program will be published on March 13, 2020. Final presentations are due April 30, 2020.
