TROY, MI — The Detroit Society for Coatings Technology, organizer of the FOCUS conference, has issued a call for abstracts for FOCUS 2021. The virtual conference is taking place May 6-7, 2021.

For 44 years, the FOCUS conference has provided a forum to discuss the most pressing issues affecting the coatings industry. From developing technologies to optimized productivity to emerging test methods, FOCUS has been the forum to share ideas and grow networks. As technologies continue to evolve and improve, so does FOCUS.

The Detroit Society for Coatings Technology is seeking coatings experts to address the latest challenges or developments in autonomy, formulation technology, dispersibility, sustainability, improved processes for two-tone, advances in application technology, or the factory of the future. The deadline for abstract submission is Jan. 29, 2021. Interested speakers should submit an abstract of less than 500 words outlining their suggested contribution via dsctfocus.org. The title of the talk, the name of the speaker, and e-mail address of the speaker should be included in the abstract submission.
