The Mississippi Polymer Institute (MPI) is focused on maintaining the health of its employees and maintaining operations as long as possible. MPI is actively monitoring the status of projects and creating back-up plans to deliver open projects on time or with minimal delay.

The main-campus university partners have completely shut down all operations, which impacts MPI’s SEM/EDX, GPC, NMR, GC-MS capabilities. Projects involving this equipment will be delayed. MPI is actively seeking second sources to address this gap.

For clients with projects requiring periodic and “duration” testing that lasts more than one week, MPI is postponing the state of these tests due to the criticality of continual evaluation.

For MPI projects that have manufacturing shut-down impact, MPI will do everything that can safely and legally be implemented to complete the work in a timely manner.
