Cetec recently launched Micro Painting — portable equipment for powder coating of small metal parts. Among the potential users of Micro Painting are companies specializing in dental products; manufacturers of glasses, doorknobs, and household accessories in general; and people who carry out minor renovations.

“It is ideal for workshops specializing in motorcycle and car restoration,” said Eduardo Cernic, founding partner of Cetec. The motivation to create Micro Painting arose from a demand from Cetec's own partners. “We are weekend bikers, and one of our hobbies is restoring our bikes. Hence, we had the idea of creating equipment that could be used at home, but that would guarantee the superior level of quality of electrostatic painting,” Cernic said.

With powder flow of up to 150 g/min, Micro Painting is supplied with a 1 kg reservoir for the storage of paint and a Tecplus X gun, with built-in high voltage (220 V). “It's so practical that the powder polymerization oven can be a conventional electric oven or even a domestic gas oven,” said Cernic.
