CINCINNATI — Omya recently announced a price increase for its Calcium Carbonate products in the United States and Canada. Effective Dec. 1, 2021, Omya Inc. and its affiliates will be increasing prices for all Calcium Carbonate products by 9%, or as customer contracts allow in the United States and Canada.

Omya reports that the price adjustment is a result of the extraordinary escalation of raw material, chemical, energy, packaging, services, quarry and logistics costs, as well as general inflation.
