The company announced it increased prices for certain carboxylic acids effective immediately, or as contracts allow. Isononanoic acid increased by €600/mt in Europe, $0.31/lb in North American and Mexico, and $678/mt in the rest of the world. 2-Methylbutyric acid, isopentanoic acid, and n-valeric acid increased by €650/mt in Europe, $0.33/lb in North American and Mexico, and $735/mt in the rest of the world. N-Butyric acid and isobutyric acid increased by €630/mt in Europe, $0.32/lb in North American and Mexico, and $712 /mt in the rest of the world. Isovaleric acid increased by €700/mt in Europe, $0.36/lb in North American and Mexico, and $791/mt in the rest of the world. Pelargonic acid and n-heptanoic acid increased by €400/mt in Europe, $0.21/lb in North American and Mexico, and $452/mt in the rest of the world. OXLUBE L9-TMP increased by €450/mt in Europe, $0.23/lb in North American and Mexico, and $509/mt in the rest of the world.
