Peninsula Polymers announced that it has received the Bronze sustainability rating from EcoVadis, an independent, trusted ratings provider that assesses environmental performance, labor and human rights practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement practices. Using international sustainability standards, EcoVadis has rated more than 100,000 companies globally across all industries and sizes.

“We are happy to receive this recognition from EcoVadis for our ongoing efforts to put sustainability at the forefront of all of our actions as a company,”  said Ken Moran, president Peninsula Polymers. “Whether internally focused or in conjunction with our strategic partners, we see this as just the beginning of our ongoing evolution and will continue to prioritize efforts that exhibit exemplary corporate social responsibility.”

As a result of the recent EcoVadis assessment, Peninsula is in process of implementing new internal programs to address opportunities for improvement, and has earmarked several capital expenditures to enhance their facilities in Georgia, Louisiana, and North Carolina in 2023.
