CAB-O-SIL CT1221 is a hydrophobic treated silica designed to provide the high fluidization performance and free-flowing properties required for powder coatings to produce consistent, high-quality finishes. The material is particularly suitable for new powder coating technologies, such as those involving lower cure temperatures, high-flow systems with lower Tg and metallic finishes, which are difficult to fluidize. Coating systems for thin films and those with smaller particle sizes with higher particle-to-particle interactions also benefit from the product.
