The agreement is designed to expand applications of Nanotechnologies' proprietary pulsed plasma technology, which is reported to produce high-performance nanoparticles used in transparent coatings, anti-microbial products and electronic materials. Recent development activities by Nanotechnologies have focused on the production of metal nanoparticles such as silver, aluminum and copper, the company said.
Nanotechnologies Inc. was formed in 1999 and is principally funded by a group of venture-capital firms.
