RPM Expands Portfolio with Acquisition

RPM International Inc. announced today that it has acquired TMP Convert SAS (TMPC), a company now part of its Fibergrate Structures business within RPM’s Performance Coatings Group. TMPC, based in Simandre-sur-Suran, France, is a leading manufacturer of outdoor design and landscape products under the JOUPLAST® and OCAPE® brands. The company reports annual net sales of approximately €35 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TMPC’s portfolio includes adjustable and fixed pedestals and accessories for flooring and roofing applications, which complement Fibergrate’s Bison business. Bison produces composite adjustable pedestals and decking solutions. TMPC’s products are used by professional and DIY end-users, with a primary customer base in Europe. Thierry Convert, president of TMPC, will remain in his role, leading the existing team to accelerate growth in partnership with Bison and the Performance Coatings Group.

Sullivan, RPM chairman and CEO. “This acquisition will allow us to expand our offering of durable, easy-to-install, and low-maintenance products for decking and landscaping solutions in markets worldwide. Additionally, this acquisition supports our Building a Better World sustainability program, as TMPC uses recycled materials in the manufacturing of its products.”
