Hydrite Expands Foam Control Portfolio with Acquisition
Hydrite announced the acquisition of Enterprise Specialty Products, Inc. (ESP), effective September 3, 2025. Based in Laurens, South Carolina, ESP supplies foam control products for water treatment, paints and coatings, adhesives, inks, construction, textiles and other specialty applications.
The deal also marks Hydrite’s expansion into the Southeast US, extending the company’s nationwide presence. ESP founder Allen Waters will continue to oversee day-to-day operations to ensure continuity for customers and employees.
“ESP will enhance Hydrite’s efforts in providing an unmatched portfolio of foam control solutions for customers nationwide,” said Kevin Honkamp, Hydrite CEO.
Founded in 1929, Hydrite is a family-owned chemical provider headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin, with operations across eight states and about 1,000 employees.
