Formation Systems, Southborough, MA, announced the opening of a United Kingdom headquarters facility in London. The company said its expansion efforts in the UK and Europe will be spearheaded by Sales Manager Doug Townsend. Formation Systems, a supplier of product-development software programs, also operates offices in France, Germany and Belgium. Townsend has 18 years of sales experience, and was formerly a CRM Applications Sales manager for Oracle. Formation Systems' products include the Optiva suite of product-development software for use by process industries.
