ST. LOUIS - Sherwin L. (Bud) Steinberg, who recently left Carboline Co. as president and CEO after 32 years with the company, has joined the Fortune Group LLC, an investment banking firm in St. Louis, as senior director. Steinberg will focus on merger and acquisition activity in the paint and coatings industry, and on specialty-chemicals businesses, the company said.
While with St. Louis-based Carboline, a major manufacturer of industrial maintenance coatings, Steinberg played a key role in the growth of the company's sales from $5 million annually to more than $150 million.
