EVANSVILLE,
IN - Fujichem, a U.S. subsidiary of Fujikura Kasei Co. Ltd. (FKK), Tokyo,
Japan, has announced it will acquire Red Spot. After the acquisition, Red Spot
will operate as Red Spot Paint & Varnish Co. Inc., a consolidated
subsidiary of FKK/Fujichem.
Fujichem expects to utilize Red Spot’s people, facilities and infrastructure in
Evansville, IN, and Westland, MI, to serve North America. In addition, it will
use Red Spot’s joint-venture partners in Korea and the UK, as well as Red
Spot’s licensees and customers in South America, Australia, China, Europe and
Singapore, to serve customers globally.
