TORONTO, Canada - In support of its commitment to meeting the requirements of REACH, DCC established DCC (Europe) Ltd. in April 2008, based in Manchester, UK, as its only representative for the purposes of REACH. DCC has now acquired the customer lists, brand names and product formulations of EC Pigments (UK) Ltd. The brand names of the products purchased are Eljon® and DyeCom®.

 

As a result of this acquisition and in support of continued Eljon and DyeCom pigment sales in Europe, the following people from ECP (UK) will be joining DCC (Europe) Ltd. after the transition and will continue operating from the Manchester area: George Hughes, General Sales Manager, Europe; Andy Fenlon, Sales Manager, UK; Kevin Smith, Technical Sales and Product Manager, Inks; and Katie Clark, Customer Service Manager, Europe. In addition, Bruce Howie has joined DCC as Senior R&D Chemist and will be relocated to Toronto, Canada.

 

The transition of the Eljon and DyeCom products to DCC’s manufacturing facilities is well underway and customers are being updated separately regarding progress.

 

The acquisition of ECP (UK) products has enabled DCC to establish a sales organization in Europe to serve its customers in the European market. In addition, the inclusion of the renowned Eljon and DyeCom brand names in DCC’s product line fills a need for DCC customers around the world.
