Cognis Hires New Business Director for QTA
CINCINNATI -- Cognis Corp. has named Kangming Ma Business Director of the QTA business group, based in Cincinnati, OH.
Ma joined Cognis at the inception of the QTA business in 2001. He specializes in new technology development and commercialization, as well as methodology implementation of infrared technology. Ma has been leading the QTA effort in new business development in both domestic and international markets.
Cognis’ patented QTA System provides quality analysis using infrared spectroscopy. All analyses can be conducted using a single drop of product, with no sample preparation or use of chemical reagents. The results are available within two minutes. Since its 2006 launch, the QTA System has conducted about two million biodiesel tests for its customers.
