On October 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., coatings industry volunteers will work side by side on the Habitat for Humanity building project in New Orleans. The event is sponsored by Dow Corning and the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT), in conjunction with the International Coatings Expo (ICE).

"Gathering in New Orleans offers us a special opportunity to help," says Laura Wolak, America's Coatings Marketing Manager. "We have a chance to lend a hand in rebuilding a city that greatly needs our industry's support. We look forward to giving something back to a community that has lost so much."

Dow Corning and the FSCT will work together to provide transportation, refreshments and lunch for all coatings industry volunteers. Individuals interested in participating can e-mail fsct@coatingstech.org to sign up for the project.
