Protech produces powders in all chemistries and in a range of colors and textures. The company maintains a long list of stock items but much of its production is geared toward custom formulations, each developed and tailored for a particular customer or application. As well as traditional thermoset powders, Protech now carries six specialty lines of coatings. Its newest addition is Sol-ar, a line of high performance coatings for architectural applications. These powders are formulated using fluoropolymer resins that ensure outstanding weathering performance and excellent resistance to the damaging effects of UV light. Sol-ar powders demonstrate superior abrasion, corrosion and mar resistance and are guaranteed for ten years in accordance with AAMA specification 2605-02. They come in a wide range of colors and textures and are of course, environmentally friendly. Sol-ar is another example of Protech's commitment to developing new and innovative products within the coatings industry.
