WH2600 removes paint and rust from wheels and rims for improved paint adhesion and to facilitate visual inspections for defects that may jeopardize wheel safety. This machine is designed to shot blast approximately 320 truck rims per 8 hr shift, or a clean wheel every 1.5 min. WH2600 utilizes two 15 hp VC-1 center-fed blast wheels for complete 360-degree coverage. In addition to increased efficiency, this machine also eliminates operator lifting by using a pneumatic loader that elevates the wheel and uses a gentle decline to load the machine. Wheels are blasted on a timed cycle and automatically ejected onto the exit table for pickup with an overhead monorail.
