Raimar Jahn

Head of BASF's Coatings Operating Division and Chief Executive Officer, BASF Coatings AG

Raimar Jahn has been named to head BASF's Coatings Operating Division, effective July 1, 2006. He has also been named chief executive officer of BASF Coatings AG. In both positions, Jahn succeeds Jean-Pierre Monteny, who retired on June 30, 2006. Jahn was most recently president of BASF's Performance Polymers division, a position he held since 2001. He joined BASF in 1985 as a Marketing and Sales manager. After working for BASF's subsidiary, Elastogran GmbH, from 1988 to 1989, Jahn relocated to BASF Mexicana in 1989 to work in sales for polyurethanes and specialty chemicals. In 1997, he became senior vice president of BASF's automotive coatings business in North America, based in Southfield, MI.

Jim Turner

National Channel Sales Manager, DUX, Inc.

DUX, Inc. has hired Jim Turner as national channel sales manager to establish distribution channels for moving the DUX spray paint products in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Turner has a 10 year business career in sales, corporate strategy, marketing and operations. His diverse business experience ranges from working within Fortune 500 organizations to leading a high growth start-up, and spans industries including pharmaceuticals, industrial services, and most recently industrial finishing equipment at Wagner Liquid Industrial Group. As national channel sales manager, Turner will be responsible for establishing specific distribution channels for the company, primarily in the industrial sector.

Vincent Genova

Technical Director, Kalcor Coatings Co.

Vincent Genova has joined Kalcor Coatings Co. as technical director. He will be in charge of all lab, research and development and regulatory functions. Genova has more than 25 years of experience in the coatings field, including 15 years as a technical director. He has a degree in polymer engineering from Case Western Reserve University.

Edward R. Leydon

General Counsel, Reichhold

Reichhold, Inc. has appointed Edward R. Leydon of New Hope, PA, to the position of Reichhold general counsel effective July 15. As Reichhold general counsel, Leydon will serve as Reichhold's chief legal officer, strategically planning and directing all aspects of the organization's legal affairs on a global basis. He will provide counsel and advice to Reichhold's executive management, as well as other functional areas of the company. Leydon will also be responsible for managing various outside counsel that Reichhold engages for specific representation on a wide range of legal matters. A senior attorney with more than 35 years of experience in domestic and international law, Leydon joins Reichhold from the Schering-Plough Corp., where he served as director of international law for the company's global pharmaceutical business.

Matthew P. Figgie

Interim President,

Clark-Reliance® Corp.

Matthew P. Figgie, vice president of Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Investments at Clark-Reliance Corp., has been named to serve as interim president of the company until a permanent president and CEO is selected. He succeeds Dennis L. Pesek, who left Clark-Reliance to pursue other opportunities. Figgie has been the vice president of Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Investments since 1989 and also serves as president and CEO of Figgie Capital, a diversified investment company. Additionally, he is a member of the board of directors at a number of companies, including American Fire Group, BGI Broadcasting, Clark-Reliance Corp., Diversified Amalgamated Enterprises, Icon Management Systems and Marri Broadcasting.

John Wentzel

President, RLE INTERNATIONAL

RLE INTERNATIONAL North America has appointed John Wentzel as its president. Wentzel's responsibilities will include all North American operations, with global responsibility for manufacturing engineering. He brings to the company more than 25 years of mechanical engineering, equipment manufacturing and automation experience. Prior to joining RLE INTERNATIONAL, Wentzel was manager of global business development at KUKA Roboter GmbH in Augsburg, Germany, where he was responsible for developing emerging markets in the logistical distribution and general industries market for the integration of robotic functionality packages, strategic planning, marketing, communications, and channel development. Wentzel has been active in manufacturing and automation since 1984.
