OMNOVA Solutions Inc. has reported net income of $10.1 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, for the third quarter ended August 31, 2009, compared to net income of $3.1 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2008. Included in the third quarter of 2009 were restructuring and severance charges of $0.3 million and flood-related expenses of $0.6 million.
