NACE International and the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), two non-profit professional associations in the field of corrosion and coating standards, training, and certification, have initiated exploratory discussions about synergistic opportunities that may exist between the two organizations.
Organizers of Photopolymerization Fundamentals 2019 are now accepting abstract submissions for technical presentations addressing research topics related to photopolymerization or any type of energy curing.
During Monday’s Plenary Session, Dr. Sonja Schulte, Editor in Chief of the European Coatings Journal, invited attendees to participate in a live survey involving key coatings industry issues, including market focus, future technologies, R&D activities and sustainability.
Professor Markus Antonietti of the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces presented the keynote address at this year’s European Coatings Conference. He spoke on “Making Coatings More Sustainable and Affordable: Biorefinery Approaches to Monomers, Solvents and Polymers.”
Dr. Sonja Schulte, Editor in Chief of the European Coatings Journal, presented the 2019 European Coatings Show Award at the EC Conference Plenary Session on Monday. Congratulations to Christopher M. Miller, Wenjun Wu and their team at Arkema for being awarded the best paper of this year’s Conference.
