INDIANAPOLIS — Registration is open for the American Coatings Show and Conference 2020 (ACS/ACC), which will be held March 31 through April 2 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

For the first time, the ACS will run simultaneously with the ACC, offering show and conference attendees more networking and business opportunities. “The idea for holding the show and conference concurrently in 2020 was to give attendees a more seamless experience. There have always been a few days that overlapped, but the exposition and conference will both be held within the exhibit hall in 2020. We are excited about this increased level of access and integration,” said Cheryl Matthews, VP of Events and Expositions for the American Coatings Association.

Featuring nearly 100 technical presentations, an extended Poster Session and 10 pre-conference tutorials, the ACC attracts more than 1,000 industry professionals seeking to expand their knowledge of the latest trends and research results from academia, government and industry. Kicking off the conference is keynote speaker Michael H. McGarry, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PPG Industries.

ACS 2020 attendees can look forward to the same educational, business and social opportunities from years past, such as Product Presentations, exhibitor demonstrations, the Career Center and the Fun Run. In addition, several new pavilions have been added in 2020 to highlight specific areas of focus, including the Powder Coatings Pavilion, the Adhesives & Sealants Pavilion and the Start-Up Pavilion.

The award-winning industry event marked its tenth year in 2018, as more than 9,400 participants and nearly 560 exhibitors gathered in Indianapolis for two-and-a-half days of networking and learning. Spanning more than 137,000 square feet, the sold-out show floor was packed with exhibits featuring impressive displays, product demonstrations and the latest innovations in coatings technologies.
