Even though white has been a mainstay color in most of the industries served by prepainted metal, silver and other metallic colors are beginning to work their way in to mainstream applications, according to the National Coil Coating Association (NCCA).
NCCA President Jeff Widenor inducted Vic Locastro of Precoat Metals into the NCCA Hall of Fame. The event took place at the NCCA Annual Meeting in Napa, CA, on April 8.
More than seven million homeowners in North America each year are faced with the decision to replace a worn-out or leaky roof, and most still choose traditional roofing materials on the recommendation of contractors, neighbors and family. Garnering more attention since the year 2000, however, is a migration toward prepainted metal roofs.
The National Coil Coating Association’s (NCCA) annual meeting, “Connecting With Customers and Sustainability,” will take place April 7-9, 2014, at the Silverado Resort in Napa, CA.
