The American Coatings Show & Conference, held every two years, will take place from May 7-10, 2012, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN, in the heart of the Manufacturing Belt, the oldest and largest concentration of industrial companies in the Midwest. The event is organized by the American Coatings Association, Washington DC, and Vincentz Network, Hanover/Germany, and run by NürnbergMesse North America, Atlanta, GA.
The Conference will be held May 7-9, 2012, and the Show, May 8-10. “The combination of trade show and conference in one place lets visitors see products, gather information and make business contacts, which makes this event a valuable experience for our industry,” said J. Andrew Doyle, President and CEO of the American Coatings Association. “We’re looking forward to, once again, welcoming coatings experts from North America and around the world.”
“After two successful events in Charlotte, the change of venue from the Southeast to the Midwest of the United States fulfills a wish expressed by many exhibitors,” said Dirk Ebener, CEO NürnbergMesse North America. “Holding the event in this region makes it possible for additional target groups from the United States and Canada to attend.” The Indiana Convention Center was built in 1972 and expanded most recently in January 2011. It offers the latest amenities for trade shows and conventions. Numerous hotels with a total of over 7,000 rooms and many restaurants are in the immediate vicinity, and the airport is only 15 minutes away. Detailed information on the Indianapolis Convention Center is online at www.icclos.com.
