BASF Increases Prices for Neopentylglycol in Europe

LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany - BASF is increasing the prices of the polyalcohol neopentylglycol with immediate effect or as existing contracts permit by 80 €/mt in Europe.
Neopentylglycol is a high-quality intermediate used, for example, to produce polyester resins for coatings, unsaturated polyester resins, lubricants and plasticizers.
