MANCHESTER, England – Manchester-based HMG Paints Ltd. is continuing a long tradition of investing in young staff by looking to recruit nine new apprentices over the coming months.

The coatings manufacturer is working alongside Trafford College and Skills Solutions on the scheme, which will see the apprentices working in three business areas. Three apprentices will be in the laboratory, three will be in manufacturing, and three in the Despatch and Trade Counter.

The company has employed 11 apprentices over the last few years. Business Development Director Steve Crossman, who himself joined HMG as a lab junior, is keen to develop more young talent for the company. “HMG Paints has always been committed to the professional development of our employees, and we are proud to once again be recruiting more apprentices. We currently have apprentices working in production, laboratory and administrative departments throughout the company and believe we are establishing solid foundations for the future of HMG Paints.”

The apprentice opportunities can be found on The National Apprenticeship website, www.apprenticeships.gov.uk. The company is encouraging applications through this channel.
