AMSTERDAM - PRA's 10^th International Woodcoatings Congress is calling for papers. The event will be held in Amsterdam October 25-26, 2016. The congress provides an ideal opportunity for disseminating new technology, collaboration and networking.

Companies and research institutes are invited to submit abstracts describing new scientific and technical developments in coatings for interior or exterior wood. A range of papers is welcome, from fundamental research to practical end-use applications. Papers are welcome from research institutes, academia, raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers and paint formulating companies.

Suggested topics include: environmental impact analysis, biocidal products regulations, leaching of biocides, measuring and testing, functional coatings, biobased coatings, UV screening, mechanical properties, matting effects, and standards, measurement, and instrumentation issues.

The deadline for submission of abstract and speaker details is April 17, 2016. Notification of acceptance is May 20, 2016, and the deadline for submission of full technical papers is September 4, 2016.
