VanDeMark Chemical Names Chief Financial Officer
LOCKPORT, NY – VanDeMark Chemical Inc., Lockport, NY, has appointed David Rodems Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a key member of the leadership team, he will strengthen the financial and IT infrastructure, oversee capital structure, and develop economic strategies driving profitable growth and increased shareholder value. VanDeMark is a leading North American manufacturer of phosgene and phosgene derivatives and recently acquired Framochem, a European-based manufacturer of phosgene products, as a wholly owned subsidiary.
“Dave has more than 20 years of experience as a CFO in senior financial roles on an international scale,” said Michael Kucharski, President and Chief Executive Officer of VanDeMark. “His experience in global growth initiatives will be vital to VanDeMark as the company continues to expand in the worldwide marketplace.”
Rodems most recently worked as CFO for a private equity-backed manufacturing company and also served as CFO for Gibson Guitar and Airfoil Technologies International (ATI), a U.S.-based global market provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services in the aerospace industry. Prior to ATI, he held senior financial leadership positions with General Electric’s lighting business in both the United States and Asia.
