SOUTHFIELD, MI – BASF Automotive Refinish announced expanded distribution agreements with distributors in Florida, Colorado and California.

BASF distributor Albert Kemperle Inc. has expanded its distribution of BASF Automotive Refinish Glasurit^®, R-M^® and Limco^® paint brands in Florida. The new location in Fort Myers opened last month.

“Kemperle has been a key partner of BASF in the Northeast for more than 30 years,” said Denise Kingstrom, BASF Distribution Director. “What started as a single store operation in Brooklyn, New York, has evolved into a network of 40 store fronts, state-of-the-art training centers, and warehouses throughout the eastern and southeastern seaboard. This aggressive expansion has allowed BASF to enter into many new markets and expand our product offerings to the collision repair industry.”

Capital Paint & Refinish, a BASF ColorSource distributor, has expanded its distribution of the Glasurit, R-M and Limco paint brands into the Denver metropolitan area and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“With Capital Paint now serving our collision repair customers in Colorado, BASF continues to meet and exceed our customers’ needs,” said Kingstrom. “We have worked with Capital for a number of years in the state of Texas and look forward to continuing to grow our business together.”

Industrial Finishes & Systems Inc. expanded its distribution of the Glasurit, R-M and Limco paint brands to Northern California. The location in Concord, California, represents a new, single-line BASF store.
