TARNOW, Poland – Coil coatings supplier Beckers Group announced the official opening of its extended production site in Tarnów, Poland, on October 26, 2016, ramping up the company’s activities in Central Eastern Europe (CEE).

In view of anticipated growth in the CEE market for pre-coated steel, Beckers decided to expand its Polish coil coatings factory, which was erected in 2006. The three-year project doubled the size of production, warehouse and office space to over 6,000 square meters.

The company estimates that the number of staff at the site when the expansion reaches full production capacity will be 80 people. Production volumes will increase significantly, and an overall reduction in environmental impact will be achieved due to new smart technology.
