Heubach Commissions New Facility in United States
LANGELSHEIM, Germany/FAIRLESS HILLS, PA – Heubach GmbH has completed and commissioned its new production plant for anti-corrosive pigments at its location near Philadelphia. This state-of-the-art plant is increasing the group’s global production capacity by approximately 4,000 tons.
Birgit Genn, Executive Vice President of Heubach GmbH, said, “The implementation of the new production plant in the USA will strengthen Heubach’s market position in the area of anti-corrosive pigments over the long term and is part of a comprehensive growth plan. Initially, HEUCOPHOS® ZPA, HEUCOPHOS® ZPO, and HEUCOPHOS® ZCP Plus will be produced at the plant in the USA, in addition to zinc phosphate. Further products in our portfolio will follow during the second phase.”
The Heubach Group has continuously invested in the optimization and automation of its production processes as well as the expansion of its production capacities in recent years. The group aims to continue driving its growth by implementing further investment projects at its locations in India in the United States.
