SAN RAMON, CA — Dowd and Guild Inc., San Ramon, California, has successfully completed its recent management buyout and has appointed its executive team. The management buyout was part of a succession plan that started back in 2011. The new leadership team will be Tim Fetters, CEO; Patrick Kelly, President; Tina Onderbeke, Executive Vice President; and Jeffrey Moore, V.P. Commercial Development. Fetters, Kelly and Onderbeke were elected to the board of directors. The founders, Tom Dowd and Howard Guild, will continue in an advisory role to the new ownership team.

“As we enter the next phase for our company, we will build on the foundation that is in place today and continue to work closely with our principals, customers and partners to ensure a seamless transition. This is a sign of stability for our company in a market that has experienced tremendous churn and consolidation. We are entering an exciting period for Dowd and Guild Inc. We are looking forward to the future growth opportunities for the company,” said Fetters.

“We are extremely confident in the new ownership team as they have a combined 50 years of experience at Dowd and Guild Inc. and are committed to keeping the culture and best practices in place,” said Guild.

Founded in 1986, Dowd and Guild Inc. is a super-regional, industry leader made up of over 40 dedicated employees. The company represents premier manufacturers to the CASE, building products, plastics and composite industries across 16 states in the Southwest and western United States and into western Canada. Dowd and Guild Inc. has established long-term partnerships with both customers and suppliers.
