MALVERN, PA – PQ Corp., a provider of specialty catalysts, materials, chemicals and services, has named Toronto-based Dempsey Corp., a leading international distributor of specialty products, as an authorized distributor of PQ’s specialty silica products for the Canadian region, effective March 17, 2019.

Dempsey Corp., which specializes in coatings, plastics and cosmetics, will distribute PQ’s specialty silicas for coatings, personal care and flow aid applications in Canada.

For coatings applications, Dempsey will distribute PQ’s GASIL^® and SILCRON^® silica gels, which are highly porous materials with tight particle size control, making them ideally suited to surface coating applications, including paints, lacquers, plastics and paper products.
