Founded in 1923, Hentzen Coatings Inc. specializes in the development, engineering and manufacturing of liquid and powder coatings, primarily for aerospace, military and general industrial applications. It has five U.S. manufacturing plants and provides coatings to over 35 foreign countries throughout South and North America, Europe, and Asia. Products include a wide variety of waterborne, solventborne and powder coatings.

Hentzen is privately owned and operated by the Hentzen family, with the fourth generation of Hentzens now actively involved in the management of the company.
