Blagden Adds to Coatings Sales Team
WESTERHAM, England — Blagden Specialty Chemicals, a leading supplier of additives and raw materials to the U.K. coatings industry, has appointed Andrea Clavis as Regional Sales Manager for the North of England and Scotland.
Clavis started her career in Croda’s research labs working on adhesives and polymerization. From laboratory research, she moved into sales roles and joined a major biocide manufacturer serving industries from industrial adhesives to metal working and personal care. More recently, she has been involved with sales and distribution within coatings, polymers and plastics industries.
She is delighted to join Blagden’s growing team. “Blagden has a family feel about it – very friendly and personal. At the same time, the company is a good size with a cracking product range, for example the BYK Additives and Eckart effect pigments. I’m excited to be on the road and getting to know our customer base,” she said.
Clavis’s appointment is in line with Blagden’s commitment to technical expertise and experience within its sales team. It enables the company to provide customers with advice and assistance for formulations and new developments alongside its specialty chemicals and additives.
