Chromaflo Technologies Introduces New Quart Package
ASHTABULA, OH — Chromaflo Technologies announced the release of its new quart package in the Americas market. The more robust and sustainable package is a blow-molded HDPE container and will offer customers several advantages such as: easy removal of a tri-tab foil induction seal equipped with a screw-top lid that also allows for ease of opening; an induction seal below the lid that will prevent leaks and ensure product integrity; natural HDPE that is translucent allowing for visual confirmation of product color and container volume; and yield retention (clingage loss) of colorant within the package is lower than the sealed metal quarts. The package contains 25% PCR (post-consumer recycled) material as required by the state of California.
“We are excited to launch this new quart container in the Americas,” said Dean Doza, Managing Director & Vice President. “It will accommodate the stringent demands required for colorant packaging used at point of sale. The detailed process that we’ve taken to move to this new plastic quart from the current liter and sealed metal quart will ensure longer-term stability for our valued customers.”
