GAINESVILLE, TX — Polychem Coatings, an IFS Coatings brand, has launched its 2020-21 powder coating color trends. The Polychem Powder Coating Color Trends 2020-21 consist of four distinct trends, each featuring its own palette of colors. The color trends are Green Guilt, Imaginative Reaction, Robotic Reality and Actual Authenticity. Eight Polychem powder colors represent each trend.

Glynn Mason, IFS Coatings President, explained, “Our color trend palettes are carefully created to represent what we see happening in the world. From the shift over the years on how we feel about sustainability and the environment, to our new AI augmented reality, the Polychem color trends showcase both colors and special effects that represent them.”

Each trend features eight powder coating colors and effects, with a strong, bold shade of Navy blue being the common denominator in each. As well as a variety of blue shades, with effects such as silver vein or soft sparkles added, antique brass and warmer neutrals with depth delivered through speckles and textures are also evident.

Mason continued, “We’re seeing wonderful shades of blue, and beautiful brass shades from our color trend collections being used already, and we’re excited to see how these colors are used by our customers.
