WESTPORT, CT – Azelis Americas LLC has hired Lucia Zamudio as Sales Director CASE Division, Mexico, to lead the Azelis Americas CASE and Plastic Additive business in Mexico. Azelis closed on its acquisition of Megafarma, a pharmaceutical and food ingredient distributor in Mexico, in January 2020, establishing Azelis’ presence into the Latin American market and providing a foundation for the growth of additional businesses in Latin America. Based in Mexico City, Zamudio will be tasked with building out the CASE and Plastic Additives sales team and related functions in Mexico.
